SECRET #95
I love colors. They are gorgeous. Beautiful. I just love them. Very much. Deep colors, light colors, pastels, browns, blues, reds, greens, yellows, oranges. All of them. Can’t get enough. This world is full of them.
Even when the circumstances have been hard or the way unclear, God has still...

2011
Is just another year. It isn’t so special, compared to any other year. New years resolutions… I don’t like them very much. I mean, I gonna keep working on what I am working on everyday. My goals for today, yesterday, and tomorrow, they aren’t changing and aren’t more significant because tomorrow is a new year. I want to be a better me. I want to glorify God in all I...

SECRET #94
I want to change my room. It is full of stuff. It has personality. It is not boring in the least. But I would like to start over. I want to take everything down and paint the walls a solid color. I want to hang up letters. I want to paint pictures and hang them up. I want bible verses on the walls and I want to feel loved when I walk in my room. I don’t not feel loved now. I just want a...

SECRET #93
Some of the things I post on tumblr I post because no one would care to listen if I just said it in real life.
SECRET #92
One of my favorite things about a new year is putting up a new calender in my room. Which is weird. Because I don’t write a lot on them. I just like them. Last year I had two. A dodgers calendar and an inspirational one. This year I got a soccer one and a Billy Graham bible-ish one. I like them. Excited to hang them up. I don’t really need two calenders, but I like to have two. :)

day seventeen
a book I’ve read that has changed my view on something.
Crazy Love by Francis Chan.
Oh, and the Bible.
day sixteen
something or someone I could definetly live without.
somethings:
television
computer
cell phone
facebook
tumblr (sorry, it’s truth)
pets (I enjoy other people’s pets)
Brussel sprouts
Squash
Fruit
Raisins
Someone:
Satan. He is awful and nobody really likes him that much. Plus he destroyed everything.
day fifteen
something or someone I couldn’t live without, because I’ve tried.
I suppose there are lots of things I try to live without sometimes. But they eat me alive. Honesty, trust, faith, love. Living in lies, distrust, without faith, and full of hate is damaging, destructive. And in the end, living without these things separates us from God, with whom without, I wouldn’t be able to...
day fourteen
A hero that has let me down.
I started playing club soccer at around ten years old. From age ten to fourteen I had the same coach. She was awesome. I looked up to her so much. Her drive, her competitiveness, her love for the game, her commitment to us as a team (she lived in Oceanside and worked in temecula as a teacher and drove to mission Viejo for practice/games), her ability to make us...

liveasaformofworship:
the Lord likes to speak to me gently and its never been a straight up audible voice though i believe He can speak verbally to me if He wanted to. its like He speaks words into my soul, then my heart acknowledges them and pieces them together and somtimes my mouth speaks them forth then my mind later catches up
Sometimes I just don’t realize it

SECRET #90
i often find myself feeling like i have to leave everything to live for God. like i have to leave my family and friends and go to some small poverty-stricken town and walk around with a bible and wash peoples feet. and that doesnt sound bad to me. but it frustrates me. because i cant do that right now. and its hard to feel like im in between. like i want to live for God but im not. like im not...
i wish i could type in my own handwriting. that would be awesome.
just some thoughts
my brothers and sisters have pretty messed up lives. i mean, everyone does in one way or another. nothing is ever all good, right? it breaks my heart so much. and a lot of it, well, they do to themselves. a lot of the time, we bring this hurt upon us, whether we see it or not. i see the lives they are leading, now in their mid-twenties, almost thirties. and its scary. its awful. one thing seems...

day thirteen
A band or artist that has gotten me through some tough days. (write a letter).
Sorry. A band or artist has not gotten me through some tough days. That would be God. I would go as far to say that Christian music has been a part of that, just reminding me He is always there, relaxing my soul. So thank you, Gungor, Hillsong United, David Crowder Band. You guys rock.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the...

Last night I walked around target with my new camera and I took pictures. Of everything. Of nothing. We were in line at Disneyland on Sunday and there was this guy in front of us who was a photographer. He had his camera, or a camera with him. His pictures were gorgeous. Oh my. We asked him what his advice would be to someone insterested in photography. He said take lots of pictures. Good ones,...
